OEM parts for BMW
As you may know, OEM parts for BMW are the safest choice, as OEM is the acronym for Original Equipment manufacturer. That guarantees you that the pieces are the exact same as the ones you need to replace. What are the qualities of OEM parts?
An automobile part may carry the designation OEM if it is made by the same manufacturer and is the original part used when building and selling the product. Not necessarily made by the company that makes the car, but the same company the car maker got the original parts from. Most parts for cars are made by other companies, who also sell the same part as after-market. That’s anybody other than the dealership. There are also some brands that are better than OEM, but the car companies want the cheapest part they can get that’s fairly reliable.
BMW owners have the best right to be picky when it comes to replacing parts, especially because we’re talking about expensive ones. .After all, you want to preserve the aspects of your car that make it unique—uniquely BMW. The pieces may not have the BMW roundel stamped on them, but, to be OEM, they must be made with the same specifications by the same manufacturer as the parts you must replace.
Most of BMW parts you’ll want to buy are decorative, and performance enhancement. Therefore, they can be generally set into 2 categories: into built-in parts and add-on parts. The built-in parts are those your care came with, and add-on parts are those bought and installed later to improve the looks and performance of the automobile.
You should thin good before choosing OEM parts for BMW: is it worth the price, are they real, and so on.

What a good written article…. You made no mistakes, its worth buying OEM BMW parts, indeed!
Hey there! I quite agree with your opinion regarding BMW OEM parts. Thank you for sharing this, my BMW will be now happy!
Hi there,
Always check with BMW first for the price of the part you may be surprised.
Also check the part is OEM alot play on this fact. Example lower front suspension arm, £137 after market lasted five months completely destroyed both ends, original BMW £151 quality in a different league.
I drive a 760i,
You cannot always check the part as it is on the car until replaced.
It is not always cheapest after market (after 150,000 miles) I can definitely say all is not what it seems. The after market is a massive market so shop around, I just found the same part for £67 I cannot see the quality but it is definitely worth a look.
Interestingly mile for mile this car original purchase £94k has cost less than any other car I have owned.
Build quality is definitely good.
Thanks
